Khloe Kardashian pays tribute to late grandmother Mary Jo Campbell

Khloe Kardashian paid memorial to her late grandmother Mary Jo Campbell on Sunday in an Instagram post with a slideshow featuring multiple images of the two together.

‘My sweet MJ,’ the reality star, 42, wrote in the caption of the post. ‘Thank you for showing us that life is meant to be celebrated, that laughter is healing, and that love is the greatest legacy we can leave behind.

‘You lived so fully, so gracefully, and so beautifully.’

The Los Angeles native, who is mother to daughter True, eight, and son Tatum, three, with ex Tristan Thompson, said that ‘one of [her] greatest blessings will always be that my children knew their great-grandmother.’

She said she was moved that ‘they experienced your hugs, your stories, your joy, and the incredible light you carried so effortlessly.’

The Good American creator opened up about the valuable life lessons she gleaned from her late grandmother, whose pᴀssing at 91 was initially announced Thursday by Kris Jenner.

‘You taught us that love never leaves,’ Khloe said. ‘It lives on in the family you built, the traditions we’ll continue, the stories we’ll tell, and every time we choose joy. Your love will forever be woven into who we are.

‘Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every embrace, and every piece of your heart you gave so freely. You were truly one of one.’

Khloe made reference to other late relatives in the emotional statement, including her late father Robert Kardashian Sr. and late aunt Karen Houghton.

‘I know Heaven welcomed you with open arms, surrounded by everyone who has been waiting to see you again,’ Khloe said. ‘And I know you kept your promise telling my daddy just how deeply we love him and how much we miss him.’

She continued, ‘I know you’re happy having your coke, tuna sandwich and graham crackers with papa Harry while Karen dances around you.

Khloe ended the impᴀssioned statement in saying, ‘Until we meet again, my sweet MJ! I love you.’

She accompanied the moving post with a series of images showing herself with her grandmother over the years. 

Khloe’s statement came on the heels of a number of emotional memorials posted by the famed family following the devastating loss of the matriarch.

She added, ‘She taught me everything that truly matters… to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted.

‘She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments. She showed me how to face life’s challenges with resilience and faith.’

Jenner said that while the family was heartbroken, they found ‘comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us.

‘Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.’

Kim Kardashian lauded her late grandmother for teaching her and her relatives ‘the importance of family’ and ‘values … we’ll carry with us forever.’

She said her late grandmother taught her invaluable ‘lessons about work ethic, strength, and confidence’ that she’s carried into her adulthood.

Kim added, ‘You always believed in me, championed me, and were my safe place. You truly were the matriarch of our family, and your love is woven into all of us. I know you’re at peace now.’
