Brianna Chickenfry blasts Jelly Roll’s ‘ego’ amid Bunnie XO split

Brianna Chickenfry has taken a side in Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s shock split. 

Jelly Roll was absolutely eviscerated by the influencer on the latest episode of her podcast as she shared her theories as to why they called it quits – all of which revolved around his nearly 300-pound weight loss.

Chickenfry speculated the weight loss caused his ‘ego’ to change and made him believe he could do ‘do better’ than his wife. 

Adding salt to the wound, Chickenfry also called his marriage to Bunnie, 46, his only ‘redeeming’ quality and a big part of her reason he is so beloved by fans. 

Jelly Roll, 41, filed for divorce from Bunnie on May 18 after nearly 10 years of marriage in a split that has shocked Hollywood, but his ex has publicly encouraged women to slide into his DMs and revealed they still intend to have a child together via IVF.

Yet Chickenfry was unconvinced.  

‘She doesn’t mean that,’ she said on her podcast, Plan Bri Uncut. ‘She’s still under the mind control of him and this is why I know that she doesn’t mean that, because all of her closest friends are reposting – like you know her girls, that you always see her with – They’re reposting the most asinine, crazy, insulting videos about Jelly Roll and how he’s the worst person and how people only like him because of Bunnie.

‘Bunnie is just doing the thing where she’s still protecting him… I went through that at a point too, where it’s like, you’re not fully stepped out of the situation yet where you can’t even understand what’s happening to you.’

‘And she just still wants to protect him, she still wants to encourage. ‘

Chickenfry was insistent his weight loss was a major factor in the split and predicted he would begin dating a ‘younger’, ‘trad wife’ style woman.

‘She’s going to step out of this a year from now and be like, ‘Holy **king s**t, Jelly Belly f**king lost weight’, and the second he drops weight, take it for what it actually is. Of course, there’s probably other proponents that go into it, but his ego and how he is as a person, clearly changed when he lost the weight and he thought that he can do better. He can date someone younger.

‘He’s going to go for a “trad wife.” One hundred percent gonna go for a “trad wife.”‘

Chickenfry also addressed speculation Bunnie’s past as an escort – along with her Sєxy Instagram posts and NSFW podcast discussions – was causing a conflict with Jelly and his Christian faith. 

Yet Chrickenfry reminded viewers Jelly Roll’s past isn’t squeaky clean as well.  

‘There’s speculation that he is very religious now and doesn’t align with Bunnie’s background or history.

‘Hey buddy, you were the one that got with an escort. She was an escort. She’s talked about it. You were a drug addict and you were going to prison and in and out of jail. Now your morals don’t align with it because you’re f–king skinny?’

‘You dropped the weight on your belly and now you dropped the weight of Bunnie, who, I think was the only like redeeming and beautiful quality about Jelly Roll. Of course, maybe some people like his music.’

Chickenfry believes Jelly Roll’s weight loss contributed to his changed ‘ego’ 

Jelly Roll has dropped an astounding amount of weight since marrying Bunnie and has been sharing the secrets behind his success 

According to Chickenfry, their love story was a big reason Jelly Roll was even ‘likeable.’ 

‘But the only redeeming thing about him was how much he loved his wife and how in union they were and how they made it out together and they built this incredible life from the dark past that they had together.’

‘I don’t think there would be Jelly Roll at this level if it wasn’t for Bunny. Like people really saw a beautiful thing in him because of Bunny and the relationship regardless if it was with Bunny or with whoever his wife would have been. Like that made him likable.’ 

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO for comment but have not immediately heard back. 

Jelly Roll, 41, filed for divorce on May 18 after nearly 10 years of marriage. While their divorce has yet to be finalized, both have already jumped back into the dating pool.

Bunnie XO was recently seen making out with reality star Dylan Wolf at Jelly Roll’s Nashville bar, Goodnight.

Chickenfry said the couple’s love story was the only ‘redeeming’ quality about Jelly and his relationship with Bunnie made him ‘likeable’ 

She also confirmed her ex was ‘dating again’ and encouraged women to slide into her ex’s DMs: ‘I told so many girls to go in J’s DMs, which you know, have at it. Good luck with that,’ she said on her podcast. 

In documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the singer filed his peтιтion for divorce on May 18 and the date of separation was listed as May 9.

He cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reasoning for the separation.

Both he and Bunnie briefly split in 2018 after the music artist had an affair, which he called ‘one of the worst moments’ of his life.

Back in 2023, the couple exchanged vows once again in Las Vegas at the same chapel where they initially said ‘I do’ in 2016.

Bunnie revealed on her podcast episode that despite the divorce, both she and the singer still plan on having a baby together after trying to conceive a child through IVF over the past two years.

‘We’re literally settling our divorce in like… We’ve done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks? We’re still having a baby together. So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered.’
